Water Lilies
One of the things I love about living in California are the flowers, especially the lilies in the fishpond in my back yard. Around this time of year they simply riot all over the surface of the water, blocking out all but a few patches of reflected blue sky. Today I watched and watched, hoping to see one of the big lazy goldfish enjoying the shade. Every so often I could see one glance out from under a lily pad, then retreat once again into its own cool world.
I think I will paint the lilies, so when the time eventually comes when I no longer live here, I can take the pond with me. Time to get painting!

I love seeing all the wonderful art, but it is not possible to read for me, with the white on black. Is it possible for me to reverse that to print out or read on line? I look forward to following!
