These fellows featured in my Saturday morning trip to River Dog Farms in the Capay Valley. In the pig enclosure (think cage free as it applies to chickens so it applies to pigs and their offpring) there were three hefty breed sows and their variously aged litters. This little fellow was among the tiniest, squealingest, quickest porkettes grazing about the enclosure. Luckily for me and my camera he was among the bravest and most curious, and came right up to the fence in response to my kissy noises.
The spring onions had *just* been pulled from the field by the workers and set off to the side where they filled the air with their pungent fragrance, outdoing even the pigs.
